Can't understand, how to calculate public item ID to make URL of just posted event. The "anum" parameter in return value of LJ-server doesn't contain number which I can use in URL as itemid= after posting, it contains some another digits. What is this digits and how can I calculate ID to make an URL?

webitemid = (itemid << 8) + anum

or

webitemid = (itemid * 256) + anum

I don't think it ever has been. I found out when somebody asked in this community a long time ago.

It really should be added to the documentation. (I suppose I should submit a patch or something, instead of just repeating that in various places.)
