syncitems test installation

If you’re working on a syncitems client, you can test it out on my LiveJournal installation:
Username “evan” / password “evan” has some entries.

This is modified from the default LiveJournal installation in these ways, designed to assist you (or, depending on how you look at it, trip you up if you didn’t design your client carefully):
  • the syncitems mode returns a very small number of items (so you don’t need a lot of bandwidth to do a full sync);
  • the getevents mode with syncitems also returns a small (but different number) of items;
  • the rate limiting code has been disabled, so you can try syncing as many times as you like without getting locked out.

Good luck!
