Adding a mood? [Jul. 10th, 2003|11:36 am]

I've been working on a LJ client in PHP most of this morning, so far I can post items with subject and get the date and time. How do I add a mood to this? I saw no mood= in the docs...

Thanks, I have it working now.

But the entries seem to be adding "\"s to things like the ' " and \s... Any ideas?

i wrote a php client too which works, but im having trouble with the metatags, i cant make current_mood, current_music, current_moodid, etc work at all. i also have to use ampcurrent_foo in the args for parsing

im sending (pw username etc removed):

mode=postevent&subject=title&security=public&current_moodid=1&event=text

but it wont actually put any mood or music up, only the title/text/date/security.. anyone?

nevermind, all those metatags are prefixed with 'prop_'. i had to look at some python source to figure it out, the documentation page does not make that clear at all.

How about releasing the code? This is the kind of thing I'd add to my intranet server. I hate jumping between platforms, and the LJ web submit form is sort of a pain in the but. Maybe I should just figure out a way to add an LJ client to my KNopix ISO.
