Are there any plans to add SSL support for clients like it's done for web interface (or at least to make it accept session cookies taken from secure auth via web)?
Some of the clients can be easily modified to use that (especially those that are in some way based of browsers).

I haven't really given much thought to it. LochJournal MD5s the password and sends it along, so your password can't be compromised. (I know they can still use the MD5 to do things on the site.)

If there's a way to code in secure communications from client to server, I'd do it, but it does require server support and that doesn't exist right now.
