LiveJournal Client Discussions
I'd like to make some comments about this client, if I may?
Personally, I find this client quite slow on my iPaq, but I believe that to be an issue between the Flash player and my iPaq, so that's not an issue really.
- I'd like the option to be able to jump to today in the Calendar, to save having to go through each month in turn to get there.
- All of my double-quotes, apostrophes, angle brackets < > are being converted to html entities, e.g. ", <, >, etc - thus making links and formatting inoperable.
- The formatting toolbar (which I presume is supposed to work instead of me typing HTML into my posts), doesn't seem to work very well. I think this may be to do with the fact that when I click on the Event field, it moves the form putting the Event field in the centre of the screen, but when I click anything else, it puts the whole form back into view. So, when I click on the formatting toolbar, it doesn't actually format anything until I click on it again.
- When I edit posts that I've already made, it seems to be showing my line breaks as
and my double spaces come up as <br> (which is actually a line break). Thus, when I edit my post and then save it without making any changes, it reformats the entry for me.
Don't get me wrong, I think this is a really well-designed, easy to use client. You've done a really good job! :o)
thanx for you comments...
i'll try to improve the programm using all your notes...
Any news on an update? :o)

streetjournal for pocket pc bugs
I have been using this livejournal client called streetjournal on my pocket pc. It works fine but I cannot copy or paste text from the notepad, which is very annoying since at times I may not have a connection to the web or wifi so I make my entries in notepad instead.
also, it does not remember my userid or password in the application, so I must type it manually every time I make an entry. The version I am using is "streetjournal_PPC_ARMV4". I've maxe this request a few years ago but no one could figure out who made this client. anyone out there know who wrote street journal for the pocket pc?
