LJBook aims at providing a high quality archive / book from your LiveJournal.
The free service is provided thanks to donations which permit to rent a dedicated server running the latest TeX Live distribution.
It uses LaTeX (pdfTeX) for producing a PDF which includes all entries, resized pictures, and COMMENTS.
The purpose of this beta-test is so make sure everything is correct with comments.

Reports should be posted here.

Things which may fail:
Unicode characters: Cyrillic (any journal with Cyrillic characters is encouraged to test this version!) / CJK/IJS (Asian Characters will likely not appear or cause error messages in the PDF).
Huge Journals with more than 2000+ pages.

This is wonderful! Everything seemed to work just fine, with the only problem being the fact that the report took about 6 minutes to generate. I don’t mind waiting at all, but the screen said there was a 5 minute maximum, so I wasn’t sure if I should keep waiting for the report or try it again.

I will fix it and give a better feedback like "Exporting your LJ", "Parsing your journal" and "Producing PDF"... the 3 steps indeed.

Please check carefully your Journal and make sure EVERYTHING is fine.

I checked once more (looked at every page), and everything still looks good. The graphics and comments are all there, and nothing seems to be missing or incomplete.

LJ Book worked great

Everything seems to work fine! No icons appeared even though I checked that off as something I wanted, but I guess that's only for people who donate. I was amazed to find that my journal was almost 400 pages long.

Kudos for a great job. I will certainly donate :-)
