[mood |relievedrelieved]

I fixed the problem Phoenix was having.

As it turns out, my POST request had an extra space between the POST command and the Path. It was pretty easy to miss, and didn't even show up in my support request (obviously due to the way HTML works).

I'm still not sure why Phoenix worked at all before, and why it stopped working, but the important thing is it works now.

Thanks to those of you who took the time to look at it.

I think there is something more wrong here than just your additional whitespace. Other clients broke, too.

LJ should report what changed recently. Firmware update on the BigIP? Proxy code handling?

Proxy. We're now using Perlbal everywhere. It doesn't support full absolute URIs (http://foo/) right now. Brad wants to fix that, though, but he hasn't done it yet.

So, it's best if clients follow the HTTP/1.1 specification and don't post proxy URLs to the site, but at some point, it will start working again when we update our proxy software.
