New client testing [Jul. 19th, 2004|05:42 am]

As I posted yesterday I am developing a new client. I am a little worried however that during testing and debugging the client might be doing some nasty things to the live server by accident. As currently I am just testing using my normal LJ user account (and annoying my friends with all the test posts!).

I have seen there exists test.livejournal.org. Is this server for testing now server app builds or would it be a good server to use for testing my client?

Also are there any user accounts I could use to fully test my client, I know of user "test" for testing the login message return. Is there a user account I can use to flood with test posts or should I just set up a free user account for testing.

Thanks in advance for your help. :)

Of course the site doesn't exist if you use that trailing slash... ;)

Why not? Works from here, and a trailing slash is a standard part of any address which is simply the domain isn't it?...

Yes it would be "standard" but for some weird reason the trailing slash isn't working when I click on the link although it works when I remove the slash. Weird, it works this morning.
