Is anyone aware of, or planing to write a client capable of simultaneously posting to movabletype and LJ? If not I am seriously considering merging 2 open source clients into a functional frankenstein.

comments, suggestions?

logjam has most of the guts needed for posting to LJ and Blogger; the MT protocol looks like Blogger's. But the goal was supporting them separately, not simultaneously.

Thanks, looks like a good starting point. I need both because I maintain a weblog that is mostly tech/work related and an lj that is both personal and has a lot of stuff about projects I'm working on. I need to be able to easy select whether an entry gets posted to LJ, MT, or both.

Since LJ supports the Blogger API, any standard blog client can post to LJ.

However, you don't get to enter LJ-specific metadata like userpics, mood, music.
