Invalid year value upon using AtomAPI [Feb. 14th, 2005|09:10 pm]
LiveJournal Client Discussions

I try to POST onto http://www.livejournal.com/interface/atomapi/verevkin/post the next message:

<entry xmlns="http://purl.org/atom/ns#">
<content type="text/html" mode="escaped">aaa</content></entry>

and receive the bellow respone (code 500):

<h1>Server Error</h1>
<p>Unable to post new entry. Protocol error: <b>Client error: Invalid argument(s): Invalid year value.</b>.</p>

Can anybody explain what happens?

Pretty sure that's not how the date format is meant to be set.

The question is how. I used the blogclient (http://today.java.net/pub/n/BlogClientInitial), which they tested with other blogs implementing Atom. The year format also the same as that I receive when I do GET entries.

Can you have Z on the end of an <issued> box? That's the only thing I can think of.

The problem was found. Should use created instead of issued.

401 Digest authentication failed for this AtomAPI request

When I tried to POST onto http://www.livejournal.com/interface/atomapi/sleemanbrown/post I got the authentication failed error. I setup the request header X-WSSE like this:UsernameToken Username="sleemanbrown", PasswordDigest="SlOc0t5Dt0kOGWH0nDOVX128Q7Y=", Nonce="375073068", Created="2005-02-23T12:09:01Z".
