[jackal]
I'm trying to back up my journal using jbackup.pl . I want to get my journal into a text format so I can vi/grep it and find old entries.

When I run jbackup.pl however all I get back are dates. No actually entries for them.

$ ./jbackup.pl --dump=raw > journal.out
do_tie: tying database
do_untie: untying database

When I look at journal.out it's all:

event:realtime:1440 = 2001-07-23 21:21:41
event:realtime:4536 = 2004-07-07 05:07:34
event:realtime:543 = 2000-12-07 10:44:22
event:realtime:2692 = 2002-07-24 18:44:48
event:realtime:4797 = 2004-10-15 18:34:25
event:realtime:4435 = 2004-05-18 17:43:49
event:realtime:559 = 2000-12-10 23:05:44
event:realtime:2591 = 2002-06-13 07:55:44
event:realtime:632 = 2000-12-23 12:20:37
event:realtime:4334 = 2004-04-01 05:29:57
event:realtime:2490 = 2002-05-22 23:02:46
event:realtime:4595 = 2004-07-27 04:20:14
event:realtime:648 = 2000-12-30 01:04:57
event:realtime:4233 = 2004-02-26 16:18:08
event:realtime:4494 = 2004-06-20 21:09:55
event:realtime:4696 = 2004-09-07 23:05:57
event:realtime:4999 = 2005-01-09 12:48:50
event:realtime:4132 = 2004-02-02 10:49:29
...etc.

Am I doing something wrong?

There's nothing further down? Are event:realtime lines the only lines in the file?
