Hi. I am developing a Wordpress plugin to make it a lot easier to import LJ posts (for those who prefer LJ to lonely WP :) To get user posts, I'm using the RSS feed e.g.
[Error: Irreparable invalid markup ('<a [...] http://www.livejournal.com/users/vodex/data/rss/</a>') in entry. Owner must fix manually. Raw contents below.]

Hi. I am developing a Wordpress plugin to make it a lot easier to import LJ posts (for those who prefer LJ to lonely WP :) To get user posts, I'm using the RSS feed e.g. <A href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/vodex/data/rss/>http://www.livejournal.com/users/vodex/data/rss/"
http://www.livejournal.com/users/vodex/data/rss/</A>

First, whilst I think of it, is there any difference in me choosing rss over atom, apart from the schema?

And now for the biggie:

Is there a way to skip back posts, or get comments, with the feed? (?skip=20 doesn't work).

Apart from that wishlist, it works like a charm: <A href="http://www.vodex.me.uk/projects/lj_feed_import/">http://www.vodex.me.uk/projects/lj_feed_import/</A>

Cheers!

I don't care anything about wordpress, but you need to learn proper formatting for LJ posts. Trying to use a frame in your post, or whatever you're doing, severely breaks your post. You've got irreparable markup codes, text overlaying the image, a damned SCROLL BAR on your entry, etc.... Whatever you're using to post with is really really borked.

I posted to here using Semagic as normal and when it came out of the queue it looked like that! Don't know what happened there, but the post was validly formatted (or Semagic has a problem in posting to moderated comms).
