I fixed the problem Phoenix was having.

As it turns out, my POST request had an extra space between the POST command and the Path. It was pretty easy to miss, and didn't even show up in my support request (obviously due to the way HTML works).

I'm still not sure why Phoenix worked at all before, and why it stopped working, but the important thing is it works now.

Thanks to those of you who took the time to look at it.

Hi,

I use ljclive as part of the backend to sms_to_lj, the other day it just stopped working.

There is a technical explanation to why this broke and how to fix it here, this might be affecting other clients so if your client stopped working inexplicably you might want to take a look.

Recent changes in the parsing of HTTP headers by the LiveJournal webserver made it impossible to log in and post with the ljclive client.

A quickly released new version works around the problem as suggested here. All Clive users are urged to upgrade to 0.4.2.

Hello,

I seem to recall a very simple API that takes a username and returns a link that user's default icon. Does such a thing exist, or am I just imaginatively optimistic?

I downloaded the LJ server source code and didn't see anything that looked like what I'm talking about. However, I also noticed that an API that I *am* using was missing as well·
