I even tried to logout - but there's not even a command to logout - that would close a session! The LJ servers just say "No!"
I'm sending out the following to http://www.livejournal.com/interface/flat - to get a list of things that need changing.
mode:syncitems
ver:1
lastsync:1900-01-01 00:00:00
After a few calls it started responding with :
Client error: Client is making repeated requests. Perhaps it's broken?
Yes I'm making repeated requests! But I'm testing the program. I even made another test account which worked for about 4 calls, and then started sending out the error message.
So I tried the old one again, thinking it was time based, I'm sure it was >5 minutes before I used it again, and I'm STILL getting the error message on the original test account.
Is there anything I can do to override this error message? If not - how long does it take before LJ considers that I'm not making repeated requests?
Ta!
(I was just at the point of removing "Noprop=1" from the original code to see what new things got returned, and I've not found out yet! Hopefully when I've ironed this developmental flow bug out, I can actually handle the properties...)
