Oh my god, I'm so happy. Lookie. Check out these two screen shots:

Screenshot 1
Screenshot 2

There aren't any other screens yet, since the system doesn't interact with any other features of LiveJournal yet. However, it DOES post, and that's awesome. As you can see from the first screen shot, the program is currently skinned to give you a main page that you can access and click around from. Only the Update button actually takes you someplace right now, and where it takes you is shown by the second screen shot. That gives you the page that I'm typing on right here. Hell yeah.

Notice the graphics, the nice lines, the black areas to type, the white letters. The sexiness of this is just unparalleled (except by Janine, of course.) It's totally scripted. You can see the script by downloading the demo program. As it stands, it can login and post, and stuff. I hate to toot my own horn, so to speak, but I love how this is shaping up. I'm very big on skinnable applications and stuff, and this is definitely turning into something that I'm proud to put my name on. Woo. I still have a LOT of work to do though. Definitely tons. It doesn't do anything except post entries. I need to copy over all the code from LochJournal and start getting this one more feature enhanced. I know, I'm delaying the release YET AGAIN but hey, what do you expect... I'm sorry guys, but this idea has taken ahold of me, and I'm in love. Bwahahah.

So anyway, if you want to take a look at this beast, and the scripting reference, and things like that, feel free to download it here and as always, let me know what you think! I want comments, people! I demand comments!

Whoops. I forgot to include the skin reference in the zip file. You can find the skin reference at:

so the first page is customizeable and all of them are skinnable? or are the links in the first page hardcoded liek that?

Re:

The only reason there are two pages is because I wrote a script to do that. :) You can write a script with one page, two pages, or 55 pages. They're easily put into subroutines which you can call via button presses, and other stuff. :)

so the interface is totally customizeable?

Re:

Hell yeah. Anything you want. You can do anything from making a really simple interface that justs posts all the way up to a full fledge thing with history. Eventually. Right now it just posts, because the program is really two different systems. The LiveJournal code, and the skin code. Now I'm wiring them together so that the LiveJournal code can interface with the skin code, et cetera.

Re:

If you're curious check out the LJLite.skn file in the .zip that I put up a link to. It shows you how I did the interface for the screen shots. Feel free to play with it. I'll write a full document up sometime when this gets closer to completion. :)

Re:

this is pretty much copy and paste but as im sure you know, mainframe interfaces are crap and this is a pain to get used to.
