Note to client authors: If your client doesn't currently support HTTPS, you might want to work on that sometime soon, since it's likely that not too far in the future lots of your users will be asking you for it.

No, I don't have details, no, I don't have an estimated date, don't bother asking. :-) I figured it was more important to give you the initial heads-up quickly than to wait until we have plans finalized before saying anything.
